The Phoenix Animal Hospital was founded in 1984 by Stephen Wilt DVM with the vision of creating a veterinary medical practice that treats every patient with dignity and first-rate care. The technicians and office staff at Phoenix Animal Hospital are highly-trained and exceptionally friendly. We understand that for many pets, visiting a veterinarian can be a stressful experience. Our comfortable surroundings and compassionate medical professionals will ease their fears.
Stephen R Wilt
 Stephen Wilt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from the University of Nebraska in 1976. He successfully completed his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree Iowa State University in 1980. Dr. Wilt has a special interest in Internal Medicine.
Steve is a proud member of the American Veterinary Medical Association,Oregon Veterinary Medical Association and the Rogue Valley Veterinary Medical Association.
Steve enjoys golf, snowboarding and windsurfing in his spare time.
 Laura Fredricks
Growing up in Chicago, Dr. Laura Fredricks discovered she had a strong bond with animals. She moved to Colorado where she received her Bachelors degree in Zoology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2008. She has a special interest in surgery and opthamology.
Her hobbies include snowboarding and participating in triathelons
When she is relaxing Dr. Laura enjoys her catahoula leopard dog, Kya and her talkative orange tabby cat, Roxy .
